 Well, this wasn't her first haircut...I gave her that one, but this was her first professional one! She wasn't too scared...especially once she got a sucker. She did great and now she has the cutest little bob. She looks like a big girl now and not a baby anymore.

This year, we went up to Santa Barbara to have a Thanksgiving Dinner with Alison and Andrew and his parents. We had such a fun time and the dinner was amazing!!! So this year for Halloween, I made Scotlin's costume. This was Saturday...we got Scotlin up early from a nap, and she was definitely cranky. We had to distract her with Grandma's phone. We got her all ready to take a few pictures and then we headed to our ward's trunk or treat and chili bake off.   She was so sleepy!  She was not a happy camper.

We met Aunt Alison up in Carpinteria at this amazing restaurant by the beach. The food was yummy and Scotlin had fun playing in the sandbox they had. We had a fantastic time at Crystal Cove this weekend. It's a state beach, so we had to pay to get in, but we wanted to go somewhere other than Huntington or Newport, where we always go. It's near Laguna and it was so beautiful, but we had to hike down the steepest hill to get to the actual shore. Hiking down wasn't as bad as hiking up, especially carrying all our stuff plus Scotlin.

I made this really qwik, easy and cheap Valentine's Day Wreath for my front door yesterday. Basically, I took a wire hanger and shaped it like a heart, with the hook at the top V and and tied scraps of red, pink and white fabric all around and then finished it off with a little pink bow at the top. It was so fun to make and it totally sets the spirit of this holiday as we walk in the door.

On the 18th, Scotlin and I packed ourselves up and headed over to hang out with Grandma Candy!!! We had such a great time. We went to a mall and rode on a train and ate at Hot Dog on a Stick! YUM!!! Going back to work today. I'm working a night shift so that I can spend most of the day with Scotlin! Rob will be picking her up from the babysitter after work and will be watching her at night until I get home. I might cry a lot, but I have to remind myself that this is for my baby!

My little baby is 4 months old and getting sooooo BIG! We just had a doctor's appointment this week and Scotlin weighs 15 lbs 5 oz, which is in the 60th percentile and then her height is 26.5 inches, which is in the 90th percentile! She is going to be a Supermodel! hehe
